Can't tell from the rules of Basic - can I correct perspective via Transform menu in PS? Seemed to be applied to whole of image, thus permitted, right? |

No -- Perspective alters the pixels relative to each other, stretching some parts of the image while compacting others. To do this specific areas of the image are selected. For this reason, it is not allowed under the basic editing rules.

That sounds plausible, apart from "specific areas of the image are selected" - by whom? I did apply the transform to the entire image. Or am I missing the point? |

i think: it's moving pixels around so it's not allowed |
