I got the best tool from my local camera store recently. I don't know how but I had a ton of sensor dust so they suggested I purchase The Original SpeckGRABBER Pro for $9.99. I was very hesitant to use it because I've never done this before. I bit the bullet yesterday and used it! After about 3 tries my sensor is perfectly clean again!! It was very simple to use too!

If you were held liable if the user done this would you have posted it?

If you do a search through the forums you'll find this has been discussed many times. One of the easiest and best methods I know of is the Copperhill system.

You want it clean? put it in the dishwasher.
You want it clean and still use it? then keep it dry LOL.

I've done the blow thing and that works if the dust is loose. Unfortunately my 30D has some stubborn dirt. I don't want to spend the $40 or whatever on the copperhill /pecpads etc. The anti-static bruch method looks tempting - until I saw the post here on the speckgrabber...that interests me.

Prof Fate .. I was really leary .. but in the end I was very happy with the results!!! I was very impressed with this little tool. It is like a dust magnet!!! I did the blow thing, didn't touch the dark spots at all and actually I think managed to create more mess than when I started. I decided to settle learning the tool I was given (Mother's day gift). I tested it on my monitor first and was amazed, cleaned it and then used it on my sensor. The results were amazing!!
