Last night just as I was uploading my "oops" entry, a truck hit a power pole down the street and I sat in the dark for the next four hours. This is what I was submitting. Its not a great photo but I think it is a great oops.

 nooooooooooo

So while I was sitting in the dark with only two small candles for light, I did what any true photoholic would do and grabbed my camera.

 Roses and Grapes

 Candles.....and a rose

OK so I didn't have a lot to work with. I gave up on the peacock feather after I caught it on fire.. twice.

 Any comments welcome

I like your original shot, but something depicting your upload dilemma would really be the ultimate "DPC Oops!" |

		| I really like your oops shot. I wish you had been able to submit it. I think it would have scored well. Its funny too. The other shots are great too. I have to get some candles and try something like that too now. |

Hmmm ... this is one of the very first photos I took with my camera, the evening it arrived at work. I had to unpack it at the club and (try to) read the manual by candlelight.

You should have gotten a photo of the truck and the power pole :-) It would have made for a good "oops" outtake.

		| I hope you don't mind, but I too am using your candles and grapes for my wallpaper. I also marked it as a favorite. Just a wonderfully warm and romantic photo. Thanks for sharing all of your pictures. |
