I was torn between two images for the memorial challenge.
This oneis the one I didn't enter.
If you would how does it compare to "The Price of Freedom" that I entered?

They are both good. The one you didn't enter gives a better idea of the monument "in context", but as a picture I like the one you entered better - IMO it's a stronger picture.

I think they are both excellent quality.
I like the first one you did not submit, it shows the size of the monument and more of the overall engravings. I think the overall impact by the size of the monument is greater. If the trees were not so distracting I would have entered that one.
But as it is I think you made a wise choice.

Robin,
My daughter thought the complete one was more dynamic than the one I submitted. I PS's the little twig out and then I think it is best. OH well!

i like the one you entered better...i tend to take and prefer more abstract views on things...whilst it may not be the most popular...good on you for picking that one.
