Hello,
I have very yellowish picture when I take picture with my new D200. I take exactly the sme picture with a D70, and have a complete different result. I try to change the WB (+3 in A), but still it has that yellow effect.
Someone can help how to resolve it ?
Thanks,

try setting the white balance off something white... like a piece of poster board or a white wall and try again to see if its yellow. |

Look at your EXIF data to see what the WB was/is set at. You "+3 in A" change to WB is just a fine-tuning adjustment, it won't make a huge difference. You should be setting WB to things like "auto", "daylight", "tungsten", "shade", "cloudy", stuff like that; those are the settings that make the big differences.
Then there's the question of how much color saturation you have dialed in; if your WB is off, high color saturation makes it more obvious.
It would help a lot to see an example of your problem. For example, if you shoot indoors with daylight WB setting and lamps on, you WILL get yellow/orange color cast.

Id try what the guys above me said first. If that doesn't work take it back and get it replaced. I had the same problem with a D-50 the sensor was bad from the factory, the photos looked like I used a filter they had a greenish yellow tint. Anyway took it back to the camera store, got new one, problem gone. hopefully you have that option.

Anthony,
"A" is a settings bank. Within "A" you can define the white balance, saturation, shanpness etc. You can also set the "Color Mode". Change the "Color Mode to "II" and then the "Color Space" to either Adobe or sRGB depending on wether you are shooting for the web (the out of the camera challenge) or for printing.
Hope this helps. If not feel free to PM me.

I think he means the "A" as in Auto WB, as it shows on the top LCD. |
