Taken today. Didn't have time to wait another 30 min or so for the sun to go down a little. So I had to shoot at 2" @ f/32.
Color or B&W; which looks better to you?

B&W for sure, the colors on the color version don't look quite right.

I think I'd prefer a true B&W rather than the duo-sepia.

They both opened for me, so I'm assuming he fixed it or you might try a refresh?
It's not that easy a decision is it? The mono one has slightly more impact due to the contrast between the white gold of the water and the dark brown of everything else.
However the colour one has really great muted colour, especially in the foreground, that looks like a painting. It is that artwork look that for some reason I would like to explore in that particular image. I should add that I haven't come up with that as a solution for anyting else I've seen so it is definitely something unique to this one.

Sepia tone and black and white... There is a difference. :)
And, yes, the B&W is better. ;)

| I think they are both great photos - but I'm going to go against the grain here. I prefer the colour one. I agree with Kiwishotz - the muted colours make it almost like a painting. It draws my eyes in more. |

I myself like the colored version better, colors could maybe use slight enhancement and i'd say a little more contrast..
I find the sepia or b&w everything gets alittle lost in each other. |
