Well to comment on the photo for you I really agree with Rikki. Also when I tend to think of water I think blue. It seems to me there is just too much red there to be believable. Just my opinion though.

Please no comments in return for me.

Edit to add: I would also like to know what you did to acheive this look. Was the first image natural or did you add the red to the sky. Can you plase list your edits on the original image?

I'm about to take another load of stuff over to the new house. When I get back I will post the original and the editing steps.

I also prefer the second one to the first one, simply because the red in the water now properly reflects the red sky. Still not looking natural, but that obviously wasn't the intent.
