I enjoy writing about photography. My first book 'Photography for all' (available in India only) has been well received.
I am working on another book - 'Learn Adobe Photoshop in 7 days'.
Sounds unrealistic? Comments please.

Sounds great ! As a person who has been trying to come to grips with Photoshop - I know I would greatly appreciate it. My only suggestion would be to make it specific to digital photography.
A book that I have found helpful is "The photoshop CS book for digital photograghers" by Scott Kelby. A great book that is specific to photography.
My brother in law recently bought me (for my birthday) another of Scott Kelby's books - called "Classic Photoshop Effects". I must say I was rather disappointed with it - it tended to be more of a book about effects that could be used in publishing - not specific to photos and how to manipulate them.
A book that dealt with workflow. I know every photo is different but there must be some common things (and order) that people do to photos to bring up the best.
A book that deals with the common things people need to do - fairly quickly and easily sounds great.
Best of luck and let us know when it is published.

The book has been arranged into 7 chapters (1 chapter a day).

1.Photoshop Basics (Workspace- Tools, menus, palettes, Options etc).
2. Photoshop Commands-I
3. Photoshop Commands-II
4. Photoshop Tools-I
5. Photoshop Tools-II
6. Photoshop Layers
7. Photoshop Filters
Photoshop Projects.

It deals with all aspects of Photoshop, like Photoshop Tools, Commands, Histogram, Levels, Curves, Unsharp Mask, Photoshop Palettes (Actions, History, Layers etc.) Layer-masks, and so on.

Suggestions please.

Sometimes we have very high expectations of very little things. I had hoped that this thread will invoke very high interest amongst photographer community here at DPC. Anyway, the manuscript is ready for publishing. I am keeping my fingers crossed!
