Following on from this great dpc pod cast and someting I do often with a member here, is anybody up for a skype image critique? Being a world wide site time zones may come into play but I'm sure peeps can 'book' times?

I for one would be interested to take part as well as read a typed copy of a critique?

Count me as curious. I have skype, but never used it. Have to grab to mic out of the tech box (that box that every geek has).

::shoves box out of sight:: what? what box? I threw that out ages ago.

That'd be cool Andi. I don't have Skype, but I could look into it. I'd have to buy a new headset, my kids put mine in the blender or something.

This struck me as exceptionally funny. Which is funny because I have no sense of humor.

;-D

I do my best, most people don't get it most of the time. Mostly.

Jeez, you guys! you can't possibly call yourselves geeks if 'the box' isn't resting on your desk.

Oh, and talking about geeks a well known magazine recently had to alter their competition results for the industry members that had most sex! computer geeks had won but after they were told that 'sex' required more than one person they were relegated to last place ;)

Google talk is another option. It's similar to Skype, but run by the almighty Google. The only thing is that it's an invite only service right now, but I'm sure there are hundreds of people with GMail invites on here that can get people hooked up.

My desk sorta IS the geek-box, and I have a few others lying around the house, hidden in closets, under the dining room table.. you know, just the usual necessities.
