For those of you that don't live in the north east (US), Pennsylvania & surrounding areas (most of the north east coast) has had alot of rain lately. It took me a while to get to work this morning trying to find roads that weren't flooded & snapped a few shots of the Benton Dam (Benton, PA). I haven't had a chance to edit them at all, these are right out of the camera, just thought I'd share them... :)

forgot to add the pic *duh*
Figured I'd put them side by side so the differences are easier to see.....

Very cool. My favorite part is how the warning tape says "Fire line do not cross".

Hope you are being safe and that you don't suffer any damage.

I like the unedited, muddy water better...it just looks fake in the edited like it's clean flowing water when a flood is full of muddy, dirty water.

Anyway...yeah floods are crazy...powerful. I've never seen destruction as bad as the time it flooded here really bad 2 years ago. I mean roads and valleys were turned into rivers and lakes...completely unpassable...it was just insane.

I just got home from downtown Wilkes-Barre. There is an evacuation in effect now. I got a few pictures.

I am glad I live in the mountains.

Hope everyone's safe! Those are some wild photos. I'm about an hour west of Binghamton and all is fine here. Been watching the craziness on TV. Hopefully it will go down some before more heavy rain comes.

We got some pretty bad flooding down here in Philadelphia, one of the underpasses on I-95 flooding, basically making Phlly's most traveled road a parking lot for most of the rush hour.
