Glad I did too.. For as many outdoor shots that I take I should of had one along time ago. Thanks to the folks that helped with my earlier questions about it.

My first shot with the filter!

What filter is it? A polarizer i'm guessing?

Sorry - A polarize filter. I was getting allot of blown out pic's. I hope to cut down on that now..

Test it out on a blue sky with clouds and you can really see what the filter can do. Turn the filter for more polarization.

"Test it out on a blue sky with clouds"

Thanks for the tip.. It's a beautiful sunny day today with a few clouds. I might have to go give it a try.

Try to compose the shot so that the sun is 90 degrees from where you're pointing the camera. The polarizing effect (especially on blue sky) will be alot more dramatic this way.
An example:

20D
Carl Zeiss 35mm f/2.4 Flektogon
ISO 100
f/8
1/200

You can see thru water in the right conditions too just like Superman. Try it. Spin the filter.
