considering buying a refurbished NIKON d50 from a store. What r u'r views on buying refurbished?
Any bad experiences? |

If its factory refurb'd it should be as good as new.

| Probably depends on who's doing the refurbishing. If it's Nikon, you can probably buy with confidence - and a manufacturer's warranty. |

As long as it's a reputable company and they're backing it with a warranty, I'd go for it...but I'd definately try it out before taking it home ... at least bring (or buy) a CF card and take a few shots, make sure everything is ok.

In general for most quality companies a full warranty is included, the bonus is your camera will have been inspected by the factory 2 times. They tend to look them over very close the second time around.
But stick to Certified Dealers if you purchase Factory Refurbished Electronics.
