| Both are beautiful pictures. Personally I am falling out of love with selective desat, but you've done a wonderful job in the first image of using it effectively. The perspective and expression are priceless. The second image is very nice also. The dramatic gradient in the sky really makes this image. The sky is so dramatic that it almost overpowers the image and pulls the eye up. You may want to balance the image a little by tweaking the saturation/contrast levels a little for your foreground. IMHO, the foreground and water look a little flat when compared to the dramatic sky. |
