Well it looks like I've finally worn out my recharable batteries and need new ones. It's been about 1 year on these.
I'm currently using Powerex 1800mAH batteries, but I'm wondering if 2000 or even 2200mAH would last longer or be better in some way? Any ideas on the best brand to buy? |

I found Sunpak batteries on eBay really cheap a few months ago. They are 1800mAh, and for the difference in price with the Energizers and the Radio Shack rechargable 1800mAh batteries I will buy them again. They seem to be holding up really well and they actually seem to hold a charge better than the Sanyo batteries that came with my camera.
Although, the guys at Ritz camera have told me there really are only two rechargable battery companies and they are subcontracted out to produce the batteries for the other companies that are out there. |

I have used 3 brands, the energizers 1850 work best for me. I have not seen 2000+ choices here, but in theory they should be best than the 1800 or 1850's. If you get them let us know how they work. |

I am using Panasonic 1950mAh Ni-MH batteries. I have 3 sets which I rotate between shoots. One set of 4 usually lasts me whole day (depends on flash usage though). I am very happy with them.

Thanks everyone... I went ahead and bought the Powerex 2200mAH. It said "New!" on the webpage next to them so I figured they'd be the best ones to buy. :D
I think the mAH rating is just how much "juice" they will hold. So theoretically these should last longer then the 1800's I have now. They better last longer because they were almost twice as expensive ($16.95 per 4-pack)! :) I bought 8 of them.

I have had three sets of batteries since I bought the Cam. 1800 and 1900 mAH. Let me know how the 2200's are. I think I will have to buy another set because I want four sets just for giggles. :-)

I am using 2200 but cant remember what make they are (will check when i get home) - they are well worth the extra you pay for them. I can shoot off a complete 256mb c.flash card and still keep going.....

I just ordered some Eveready NiMH from Costco.com, but I'm not sure of the mAH (milliAmp-Hour?) rating. I got a resale pack of six 4-packs of AA to share with someone else; with shipping came to about $48. Their charger (with two batteries) is about $14. |

I'm currently using Uniross 2300 mAh and could safely say they are the best batteries I have used of yet. They can easily last a full day of shooting with full use of flash and LCD screen. |
