Took a few pictures of our friend's cutie pie the other day. What a doll!

The pink is a little bright for her complextion, imo, and is overpowering her. Therefore, I like the b&W ones best. All are excellent exposures, so maybe just a little desat on the pink will bring balance to the color as the b&W ones already have. Overall, great job.

bump because these are uber cute and because Robert deserves a comment or two from the peanut gallery.

last one is my favorite...great job! I don't think the pink is overpowering...desat my make it look better overall, but there is nothing wrong with how it currently is.

Thanks for all the comments. Mom loved these and the rest so I've been asked to take more of her in the future. She's such a cutie pie it will be a pleasure. I appreciate the input.

Very nice job. Top knotch and I'll bet Mom was more than pleased. I love the one of her feet!

I also think the pink is the wrong choice for the girl's complexion. If her skin were a little darker it might make for a nice contrast.

HOWEVER, these are all some great photos. I always say, making your subject feel comfortable is an art unto itself, and one of the most important in portraiture. I think the majority of people feel uncomfortable in front of a camera so it is a great skill to have.

The absolute most important thing though, is how the child, and the parent likes the picture. I've taken some horrible horrible shots that I would never, ever show to another photographer, that parents have love love loved. I will sell what I perceive as a terrible photo to a parent who wants it, but I certainly would not show it to my peers ;-)

You commented about Mom loving them, so nothing else matters, really. (Unless of course we're talking stock photography, but, editors are evil!)

Nice work!
