Every Conon-ite says the 50mm 1.8 II lens is a must have. So I ordered one and received it this week.

You can imagine my dissmay when I eneded up with a pinched nerve in my lower back and couldn't get out of bed. Nothing like a new toy that you can't play with.

So I took a trip to the ER for the immense pain on Thursday and ended up with some new meds. Now I can actually get around for a few minutes at a time and ended up sneaking a few pictures.



For all the flower haters, I could only make it a short distance so this was better than noting.

I cannot say enough about that lens. I have "L" glass in my bag, fun lenses and wide lenses - but my 50 stays on my camera 80% of the time and almost 100% when I'm in my studio.
