Taken from the safety of my car with the windows rolled up! I used the telephoto lens and all the other shots came out somewhat blurred from the car movement. Oh well.

I thought about it :) It really was a rush. I'll have some other photos to post tonight. We are finally at a hotel with Internet and we got here early to sort of relax tonight. I may actually have time to post some more shots. We've have topped the 6,000 mile mark! We are between Yellowstone and S.Dakota/Rushmore area.

Big bears scare the crap out of me. They could smack you 100 yards before slowly chewing you up. Bees and snakes suck too.

Awsome shot, and I am glad you stayed in the car. No use becoming part of a Animals Gone Wild vid.
