nice capture. tree on left, and roof on right distracting. tighter crop would do it, or move the camera.

The area where the lightning meets the tree is a bit over-bright (hot), not sure if that can be toned down. Also, the area on the lower right corner is distracting from the subject (the lightning), I would try to clone that out. Overall not a bad, just not as awe-inspiring as some I've seen.

Yeah, that's better. I took it a little farther by adding some blue and removing the noise a bit.

I like the original better. the dark space on the right made for a more balanced composition. change it back! mwahahaha

I'm kinda with idnic in that the noise is a bit of a problem. There is some banding in there that just doesn't look good to me. So I ran noise reduction and then added in some noise afterwards so that it didn't have that banding. I also, used shadow/highlights to bring down the highlights just a tad. It could be pushed even further but the highlights for me wasn't really a problem. Lastly, I cloned out the building and the tree in the top left corner. Below is the result. The noise could be better but I was working off of a low res version so part of the old noise was still in there since I didn't get a noise profile match in neatimage.

ETA: I like the original composition better than the square looking one hence the cloning.
