Earth from the Air is a free, open-air exhibition in the gardens of the Natural History Museum, South Kensington, London. It is a spectacular presentation of large-scale photographs of astonishing natural landscapes. Created by world-famous photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The exhibition is opening in early November and will remain in the east gardens until Autumn 2003. Late opening until 22:00 hrs, floodlit and waterproof!
I own one of the huge coffe-table books of these photos, and they are STUNNING.

I got to see his work when they were being displayed in Montreal last year - its just not the subjects of his photos but the way they are presented that make these exhibits a must see! The coffee table books are a little pricey but definitely something I'd like to have in my collection.

Thanks Bob, I've been meaning to schedule a visit - they had some large prints from this exhibition displayed in the windows of the Pret a Manger by Leicester Square tube station last time I went into town... which reminded me about it but I forgot again.

Memory like a sieve.

I've bought that book about six times as a present, and don't have a copy myself. D'oh.

Is it the same collection as last year, does anyone know, or is there new stuff?
