What do you need that iPhoto won't show you?
PSCS and above (probably 7 too) will show nearly everything.

Select your image in the thumbnail view and go to Photos-->Get Info
You can use PhotoShop CS2 on an Intel Mac but only using Rosetta, the PowerPC emulator. Adobe probably won't have a Universal Binary version until the release of CS3, sometime late this year, early next. |

I just purchased my first intel iMac last weekend and this was the BIG question I asked the guys at the genius bar before I bought. They said there will be a speed hit, particularly with launching the app, but that actual use wasn't bad. I have to say that they're right. In actual use, PSCS seems about as fast as it is on my iMac G5 2.1 Ghz. I can't wait to see the intel native version when PSCS3 is released! |

| The windows version of photoshop when used with Bootcamp is supposed to be way faster since the intel chip can run it natively. But if you only have a license for the OSX one, you might have to use that one instead. |

You can also use Preview to show EXIF data. It's a lot faster than launching iPhoto just to check one picture. |
