These are somewhat large panoranic shots I took in the basement of the design/architecture/photography building on campus. It was predominantly used as storage/building space for various organizations...a few buggy teams lived down there, as well as the explorer's clubs, etc. I always loved it because there's so much dirt and grime and obscenity and hazards everywhere.
The fine arts department is taking it back and turning it into shiny stuido space, kicking out everyone who works/stores down there into other spaces.
I'll miss it a lot. I'm not sure when it's going to happen, but i took my lunch break today to go kneel in the broken glass and styrofoam bits to take a few last pictures. They aren't that great as far as photographic value, because I only had about 15 minutes and was running low on battery life so I just took some quick shots, but they are interesting (to me, at least) to look at and. Well.

These are cool and I think that they really have the potential to be awesome with a little photoshop work. What is up with the jagged black border though?

The border is from compiling various pics and stitching them--
I agree the idea is great, if you could somehow crop them to make the borders less obtrusive.

If you want me to take this down I will...no problem, just thought I would show you where these could go with a little PS work. I cropped it quite a bit, but that black border thing is distracting. Edited to add that I used a Photoshop filter called "Photocopy" to get this effect.

I don't think you can hot link to flickr. Just post the url so we can cut/paste in the browser. |

The pics are very interseting. I agree, would be awsome with some more PS work. My dad's been using that software to create 360 degree panoramas of Oahu's beaches.
