I use the standard SmugMug. I am thinking about going to the Professional SmugMug. When you do that do you still get a spot to store photos taht you don't want to appear on the website?

yup. you can just click it private, and it won't show op on your homepage.

I think printroom.com is probably a better option if you're looking to make sales and not have your customer overloaded with options and silly stuff.

Also, on printroom.com, you just upload the thumbnails for whatever it is you're selling, then when a sale is made, you upload the fullsize edited version (which can really save you time if you have a lot of photos at once).

yep you get a spot to store photos and you can simply make it private wont show up on your site and know will know it exist. Also you get unlimited amount of storage and can set your own prices including full customizing of your site.
