Color without a doubt.
The tones of the sky and the natural colors of the skater go very well together. |

hmm. tough call. how about making the color one black and white? i like the black and white "colors"/tone better but like the other picture better, can see the face and they have more air in that one. know what i mean? its more impressive.

sorta like this...
it all depends upon how you see the picture... what message you want.
this edit was pretty easy - i hit Ctrl-U, and desaturated most of the way, then messed with levels - i pulled the highlights up, and the shadows down to get this contrast.

I like the thing that toti put up...The color one in black and white is by far the best. |

The color version does look great in Toti's b/w version. To be honest and dont want to sound harsh, I have just one nitpick, weird looking hand growing out from the head ;) the b/w makes that part of the image stranger. You can clone it out and it may seem the skateboarder is doing a back grab (sorry, I dont know the exact term)?
Edit:
In the end I think I'd give this shot the edge

I absolutely prefer the b&w, even over a grayscaled version of the other.

Color! I like that you can see his face and that the color makes this action shot come to life..very vivid. |

It's a tough choice because I think they're both great, but I like the original B&W one.
