This is day 6 of my 21 day trip to Seattle and back. I've uploaded half dozen or so shots, but I'm not spending much time at all on editing due to only having my laptop with me.
Rocky Mt. National Park was awesome and so was Arches. I can't wait to get home and work on the whole load of shots, but thought I would share some now. They are in my portfolio under "Seattle Trip" and I'd love to get some comments!
We are in Heyburn, Idaho tonight.

Good morning! Today we are headed into Washington, but won't make Seattle until tomorrow.
(this is actually a shameless bump for the photos :) ) |

annasense, thanks for the comments! We were about 25 feet from the baby and mama moose. We hadn't been in the park for more than 20 minutes when we came upon that pair along a creekside having dinner :)
Judi...thanks too for you comment. I'm having so much fun and excited about the photos. It's nice to get some feedback and share. |

Usually a very, very bad place to be...
Nice shots though! My favorite is the lizard. |

We were right by the car, and could quickly step back into the car if needed. At one point, she did start to amble a little too close for comfort, but it seemed to be more in search of new food. We got in, but then got back out and we were there for probably 15 minutes. And of course we made no loud noises or sudden movements. It was great for my 11 yr. old to have the experience.
Yesterday we went for Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier, but ended up not seeing much of anything due to extremely heavy low cloud cover. We did, however, find some awesome waterfalls at Mt. Rainier. I'm on someone else's computer, but will be able to upload if my stupid network ever works again on my laptop.
Today we went into Seattle and I got some market pics. Tomorrow is Olypic National Park and coastal area. |
