Becky-Lee and I spent a few hours at one of our favourite local beaches on Monday, and I just wanted to share, since not everyone gets a chance to see these kinds of birds.
(we spent a little longer than planned, after she locked my carkeys in the trunk and had to phone her dad to bring his down!)

Nice shots Sheila! I like 5 and 6 best...
How do you like your S2? I was thinking about getting one as a present for my family, is it easy to use? How bout noise?

For a point and shoot, I love it, though for challenges I'm definitely seeing the limitations. The noise is there, but I think it's better than most. Start-up time is quick and it's very good on batteries.
For a family camera the stereo video is nice to have, too.
The shot of the flying bird was taken with the full zoom then a just a small section cropped. I've only had one other digital, but I am realllllyyyy happy with this one :)

It's easy to use, tho' I still haven't learned all it's capable of!
One of my favourite features is the super-macro, which lets you get close enough that the subject can be actually touching the lens.
