Great info, thanks for sharing. I don't think I'll be taking any pictures however since it's going to be a tiny speck in the sky according to those articles. However people with telescopes hooked up to their cameras are going to have some fun I bet. :) |

I would but my high powered eyepieces are just regular plossls so it would be like looking through a pinhole trying to find mars though people with a slr or dslr can always use a projection mode of photographing mars |

A couple of weeks ago, we went out at about 3 am to see Mars through a 10 in. telescope. We could even see its polar caps!

I'm going to attempt some shots through my 8 in SCT Thursday night. If I get any good ones I'll post them..
