Konica Minolta MF 85mm f/1.7

I went to the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base yesterday.

For my "long lens" I rented a Canon 300 2.8L IS and put it, with the Canon 2x II extender, onto my 20D body, for an equivalent focal length of 960mm!

My "short lens" was the tiny (by camparison) Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS on my 5D body (full frame, no crop factor). It practically felt like wide angle! But I was blown away by the number of photographers out there sporting this lens.

Vey nice, all of these. Shots are all nicely punchy and sharp. Great job.

AND... they haven't even been thru an editor (yet). I suppose that may be obvious by the number of images that show sensor dust on them. lol

These were all shot in raw and converted via RSP and so far that's all I've done to them. I'm still trying to decide which ones I might want to put some finishing touches on.

So every shot was shot with the Canon 300 2.8L IS + 2X teleconvertor? i assume it was since it's not posted with the pictures.
