| I need a hiking pack for my D50 and some lenses. Anybody seen any great bargins on something, or have any success stories about any good ones? |

Well, this one is a Canon backpack, so it might make you sick putting your beautitul nikon into a canon backpack, but this one appears to be a good deal. I haven't ordered this one yet, but I have been on the fence about it for a while. I just don't want to poison my Nikon. ;P

See now that is the type of deal that I would not have found on my own. Now it is a matter of moral values. Nikon in the canon bag? Is it concievable that it is such a good deal that I could do that? Or would I be on a trip and a canon lover would start up a conversation about how much he loves his canon only to find out that we have nothing in common?
Actually I have nothing against Canon, I just like my Nikon. My father used Nikon and his father used Nikon, and his Father used a paint brush.
Does Nikon even have bags? I bet if they do they are bright yellow with black straps and people would mistake me for a bumble bee. |

If you're talking about the Canon bag linked by jahoward, I own it and like it a lot. It carries my 10D with battery grip, my flash, tons of junk and four extra lenses (28-75 usually on camera, Tok 12-24, fish, Canon 70-200 and 50mm macro. A good, very usable bag. |
