I was called to do a fashion show. Any suggestions. I have a Nikon D50 with the 5Omm 1.8D lens, 70-300 lens, and a 18-55 lens with a SB-600 speedflash.

Haven't done much runway work. Consider this a bump.

i would asume that something like a stofen omnibounce would work well in a situation such as this... other then that, try not to cut off parts of the model..

that was all me BS'ing, but i think it all makes sense :)

also im not sure how the d50 works, but in manual mode if you set the aperture and shutter speed, the camera should auto adjust the flash, so if you want to stay at a certain shutter speed/aperture, that would be the way to do it :)

In my college days i ve covered some shows from that experience i can tell u that 18 - 55 lens is sufficient for Fashion show shoot(hopefully u will will be just at the front of ramp)Becos u r suppose to shoot mostly full figure of models plus some time upto waist, best time to shoot the models are when they reach at the tip of ramp towards audience.there they stand for few seconds plus they give some expressions also, plus u can shoot some rear & side of clothes .Concentrate model by model as they enter on the ramp.
