This is just pre-emptive. The games are on during work on the West Coast so I have to record them until I get home. I'm already going to be avoiding ESPN and Google News, don't make me have to avoid DPC.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread...

not just the scores... no announcing winner's either...

i'll get to watch 2 hrs before the good doc, though... ;)

Good points, well made. I won't be here for the world cup so it won't bother me but do you think L or D could come up with a new World Cup topic that could be turned off by peeps watching later?

Yes, no announcing winners either! Good point. Gotta be really literal on DPC.

Perhaps SC can be kind enough to patrol for us fanatics. :)

Well, the first 2 weeks are normally pretty big for England then it goes downhill ;)

Thought I would get in first Doc and post the scores before the game is that OK.

Don't worry, I personally will be renaming any threads with spoilers in the titles if I see them, although it's not official SC policy. I like to be a rebel though :P

I am watching Mexico vs USA...I just happened to be flipping through the channels. Which game of the WC is this>? I didn't realize it started already!

Anyone know when the US plays again?

Maybe watching some World Cup will make up for tearing my ACL playing last night..LOL

You are watching a warmup game that happened a way back I believe...

First US game is vs. the Czech Republic on Monday.

And I agreed with you. Some of the teachers at school asked me what I thought the score would be - I said 3-1. hehe, I'm just about to leave for school now - can't wait to see their reaction when I walk in. ;-)
