I did a cap and gown shoot for a friend of mine tonight of her son. He graduates high school tomorrow.

I just wanted to post this and see what you guys think. This is my entry for my 30 people, 30 days project.

What do ya think?

Very nice work...I like it. Nice tones in the B&W. I can't make up my mind on the bit of red though.

I like it .. the red works for me .. but the bit of glare on the glasses doesn't .. it's just enough to be distracting.

I like it. as is. offer a non-red version if you want.

He has a mustache? What year is this? I say taht because apparently I am of the older generation now...NO ONE under thirty wears a mustache. Look around and ask - it's very taboo, bad, uncool, like body odor but perhaps worse.

Who knew?

This was taken yesterday! I dunno.... I don't see too many "kids" wearing full facial hair these days. It's funny, my husband had a full beard when he was 14!!!! He had no problems getting served at a young age! LoL

I guess if it's "your style" then go for it. :D

I don't think she was looking for feedback *on* her model, but feedback on the shot. In the future, it's considered kind of unprofessional to comment on the people in the photographs.

I like the natural expression. It tells me that as a photographer you connected with your subject. Lovely job :)
