I was having a discussion with one of my friends tonight about how, as I get better at shooting pictures, the challenge is becoming less of me trying to take good pictures, but rather me trying to to create them.
I will always be learning how to take good photos, I don't think that will ever stop, but I am finding more fun in the challenge of setting up for a good shot. I actually did my first set up shot recently for the empty rooms challenge, as little set up as there was, I still created a lot of the picture myself.
Any comments or musings? |

As you become more proficient at your craft you will find yourself constantly challenging your own ability. That is where the creativity comes in. You will start adding, not necessarily more elements...but more angles to your image. More storylines so to speak...to hold that viewers attention that split second longer...without realising you are doing it. But in doing so you are not only having to creat the scene but handle the camera and its individual settings to suit the image/story/conditions of the scene...and that in itself is a huge challenge. It is a credit to anyone who can pull such a feat off....no matter how big or small the scene is.
