Hey all, just noticed that
//www.dpchallenge.com/lens.php?LENS_ID=1115
and
//www.dpchallenge.com/lens.php?LENS_ID=1275
these are " Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6" and " Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II" respectively.
They are listed as seperate lenses, and the first one (I) has a lot more nice photos.
Just wondering if there is a difference between the lenses in terms of quality? or is it just the fact there's a 1000 users listed for I, whereas only 100 listed for II.
Thanks

Canon officially stated no difference, but it look like looking at dpr.com and steve's digicam's review of the lens while testing the XT shows that the II version is a bit sharper at wide open aperatures.
