Thanks E301, but I have decided upon the E20.

Went out and purchased it yesterday. Got a great deal from Jessops, they had it up for 999.99 and after printing soem internet prices, they dropped it to 794.00! quite a bargain I am sure most peolel will agree!

The quality is great and better than the 602 for sure. But i am still impressed with the 602 - it suprised me when I saw the print outs.

But, the detail is what it laked and what done it for me.

I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to focus in low light (unlike most digicams) and having a true SLR viewfinder is worth every extra penny I spent!

Can't wait to actually take a photo and submit to a challenge!

Thanks for all your help - this really is agreat community.
