Just an FYI if those of you in the area weren't already aware (or for folks thinking of coming to town for the festival), there is a "pirate" ship that's docked at the waterfront for the duration of the main festival.

Its supposedly one that was used in the filming of Pirates of the Carribean, though I don't know if that's the first film, the second, both, or even true at all.

Also, I was told they'll be firing the cannons tonight (Thursday) but I don't know when or if that's accurate either.

Figured it'd make a decent photo opportunity if you can get in a good position. It's docked over near the Salmon Springs fountain/near the Hawthorne Bridge.

The Starlight Parade is set to run this Saturday night too (9PM) if you like parades at night in the rain.
