Bichons are really hard to expose properly and get any detail (unless they're dirty). I would try to desat the yellow a bit on the edit. Otherwise it is an improvement. I have some here of our Bichon.

The white balane is off...way too much tungsten in the shot. I think if you adjusted the white balance you'd have a great shot.

Your edited shot looks like it blew out the front paw some. Here's my quick try (on an uncalibrated monitor). Adjusted levels, curves, removed some of the red cast. Still looks kinda red but I gotta do some work!



Actually, now that I look at it big, I don't like that at all. So nevermind. :)

aww, konador, making it black and white is totally cheating as far as removing the color cast goes XP
