I went to the ACC baseball tournament this week. This pitcher for UVa had what had to be the strangest pitching motion I have ever seen.
It started normally enough


But then he would go into this jump/slide motion that looked like the "crane" move from the Karate Kid.

He litterally would be airborne and end up a yard or two in front of the rubber.



One other strange sight at the game - the Canadian flag. One of the persons holding the flag caught my eye


It turns out she was a celebrity in her own right - Later in the game she was signing autographs on a copy of our local paper


I checked the paper when I got home and found she was recently in Maxim and Playboy.

Oh - the game - Florida State ended up trouncing UVa 11 - 0.
