Sadly, not me although someone said that the shot was what an architectural photo should look like! At that point the score almost becomes irrelevant...

Not mine, either, but I think I'm snuggly in the "no comment" zone on this one. No one has said "great architectural shot" but I have had lots of folks at work walk by and say "Hey, isn't that the (insert building here)? Cool picture." Which is almost as good!

Hmmm.... my score keeps dipping. I do have to say I am getting some good comments which explain why it's dipping. The more I look at it, the more I like it, but I've discovered that what I like isn't always what "the majority" likes. That's good by me.

And JP? I haven't given out favorites yet, so be patient... Come to think of it, I generally don't give out favorites during voting. And I probably should save those frequent flyer miles for a trip to Germany to find a place to live, huh. :-)

The few critical comments I've received on mine contradict each other. One wants more color saturation, one wants less... oddly no one is complaining about the flaws that I see.

ok... so not the best... but it is, at least, somewhat unique... and the comments have all been from lovely people, even my wpl teammate who only gave me a 6... ;)

A couple more 7s, or a bump or two would be nice. Not aiming for a top 20 or anything, but would really like to stay above a 6.0. Yes, that's horribly greedy of me, I know... I'll get back to my normal scoring mode after the Beatles challenge closes, but for now, I'm going for three, maybe four in a row. :-)

Well, rats. Below 6 now. But still very respectable, so I'm not complaining!

Guess I was right to pick the color version after all. Of course, I have a comment saying they might have liked it better in black & white. sigh

I don't understand how my score can go from 6.0 to 5.8067 in one morning.

Maybe we can have some special award for the person who gets the most "6" votes - you may have that locked up! :-)

Or maybe he has exactly the same number of 5 and 7 votes!

Interesting... I just got a 3. Hopefully that's on someone's personal rating system of 1-4. :-)

Yeah, math. I rarely do it but noticed a rather significant drop for this late in the game, so I did the math. Must be the Really Angry Friday voters.

Chuckle - how close do I get to a 6 and not get one????

To be fair I have had some very complimentary comments that make me feel as though I am on the right improvement track - and these mean as much as scores to me right now. I guess I need the roll-over Gods to be kind now! :-)

that'll go over 6 for sure Carl ;) Hang in there. BTW, I've been away the past few days and dial up sucks at viewing and voting. I hope to still comment on images ;)

Good luck all ;)

Dial-up? What's that, mate? Chuckle - DPC would be a nightmare on anything less that 256Kbaud. Hope the trip was worth the withdrawal symptoms!

Yeah. When you're up in the mountains, DSL or cable seems hard to come by ;( I end up getting kicked off my connection every now and then ;( But yes, it's worth the aggravation ;) Great time to relax and unwind ;)

That's all I've got - 128K ISDN at a very high cost. Voting is a drag since each picture loads sloooowly.
Norway has over 90% high-speed coverage but I happen to be too remote.

BUT... one of the providers now think they might be able to give me 1200/384. That will make my day! I will know in a couple of weeks or so. If I do get it, I'll do the snoopy dance! ;)

I hope you not only get a chance to do the snoopy dance but capture it for us to see as well! :-)
