Even with a winning picture getting DQ'd my picture lost ground. I am just curious how the math works in this case. Were the scores figured a second time, or what? My poor little pitcher went from 40 to 41 after it was all over.
A great big thanks to those that understood this shot, I didn't think it was very difficult but I guess I was mistaken.

Mine went from 181 to 187...something must be screwy with the database.

Mine went from 82nd with 5.4 to 80th with 5.5!
And no, that's not a complaint :) |

I'm going to take a SWAG and hypothesize that some additional votes got included. A simple recalculation of the existing votes after the DQ would not account for these observations.

Two possibilities, one more likely than the other.
I. The users who voted on the DQ'd photograph only voted on enough to make it past the 20% mark, thus dropping off 1 vote per person who fits that description.
II. The table in our database that stores voting information became corrupted on Thursday (the outages) and a few records may have been lost.
We're very sorry for the inconvenience and hope that nobody is enraged over their score differences,

Have the scoring errors only been in the desolation challenges or have folks noticed them in other challenges as well? |

Maybe the DQ'd photographer's votes on your photograph were DQ'd as well as hos photograph? |

No problem with me. I don't know how you keep it all going as smooth as you do. Good job keep it up!
