Ok, like many others that I've seen on this site - I'm cheap. With that being said I still need to find a way to dry mount photos. I had the brainstorm to use a regular household iron to dry mount photos. (I don't want to use spray mount)

Has anyone ever tried this? The big question is whether the iron is going to be too hot to damage the print or not hot enough to melt the dry mount paper.

Koday has some dry mount paper that looks like it might work: //www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&Q=&is=REG&O=productlist&sku=27995 - check out the "Features" tab for it where it says you can use a household iron.

I'm going to be picking up a dye-sub printer for the prints and have no idea how the heat of an iron might effect the prints.

Any more ideas on how to dry mount for cheap would be most appreciated.

Brian
