Back to the Botanic Garden yesterday with the photo club....

All images shot with the 100-400 (mostly at 400) and ISO 400, aperture 5.6, using a monopod. For me a tripod would have been too cumbersome and would have meant missing some of the action.

These images are awesome! I especially like the bottom left corner. Did you adjust the hue/sat on that one? The images are great! It makes me want to head for our botanical garden today!

Thanks.

No hue/sat adjustments at all. Just a slight curves adjustment to get the white to show as white.

We went to World's End State Park yesterday & also found some butterflies to shoot. Very interesting where we found them (info listed with the pic...)

Thanks for the comments. I was shooting at f5.6 so I could keep the ISO as low and shutter speed as fast as possible. I'm definately going back throughout the course of the summer so will try different settings (hopefully on a brighter day).

... tiny bump ... in case anyone else wants to have a look

Thanks Ursula. The Botanic Garden is one of my hangouts for the summer. I will have plenty more.

You're so lucky to have a Botanic Garden where you live. Enjoy!

Those are beautiful!

I especially like the one on the purple flower.
