Hi Everyone, I am back from the motorcycle shoot. I experimented a lot with shutter and aperature. I got some great results and some fair results. I would love to hear what you think of a few of my favorites... I am still a novice, did this shoot as a favor for some friends. I need all the critique I can get! Suggestions also appreciated! Unfortunately I had to hang out primarily on one turn due to rattle snakes and heat. There were some novice riders that weren't comfortable with me in the curves.

As I said, some are right on the money, some are blurry due to my settings (while experimenting)! |

Some of them look ok. With a lot of them, the framing is pretty bad. You have 230 photos up, that's quite a bit...you should consider only displaying your good ones.

Thanks Deapee, I agree! I have some of these that need to be taken out. I have only uploaded them all for the soul purpose of critique. I think some of my better shots are later in the pages (as the day went on).
Thank you again. |

Most of them lack a feeling of motion. Did you pan? Slow shutterspeeds and panning add a lot of action feeling to photos.
Edit:
Not to plug my own photos but here is an example:
Blur in the rims, the brake disks, the chain, the tires and the background. It gives a feeling of speed/motion.
