Ive seen some really cool grunge effects, that people have used on some of their photos. Being a student drains my cash, so I cant really get any ps books quite right now. I have this photo, that I am trying to get a grungy kinda effect with. So far I have dodged and burned, and played with the congrast/brightness a little bit. Any other suggestions? Id be really grateful! Thanks :D

here are two versions done with some available photoshop actions, dragonizer and urban acid. I would get those actions and watch the steps so you can figure out how to get the result you are looking for.
this site is where you can get the actions
