While browsing through images on the site, I bumped into this one:
And then I read the photographer comments on the shot, and I felt heart broken.. We all go on with our daily lives, trying to provide for ourselves and our families, and rarely do we stop to remember those heroes who left their families behind, and made the ultimate sacrifice.
I wish I can find words to express my deep gratitude to those soldiers and their service for our country ..
Whether you agree with this war or not, please take some time to consider what those men and women in uniform had done for us. We should never forget those who are paying the price of our freedom.
Thanks for sharing this story, Robert, and thank you for putting yourself in harms way to protect our freedom |
