Am Surprised at the number of entries in the failure challenge that have used the word FAIL in some manner,to the title so the voter can understand the photo. Also a large number of enties that did not use Fail in the title, used words to convey the photographers thoughts,on thier image. It would appear that voters are needing to be told how to see the image by titles. A nice clear in focus image is going to score higher, even though it may not depict failure without the title,yet an image that has been deliberatley taken to appear as a failure without a title will score low, and this is happening right before my eyes.

Thanks for saying that - I sort of didn't dare.

It must be said, I think, that expressing something like 'failure' through visual means alone is a difficult proposition, but the rewards are high.

So you're saying its probably a good idea I didn't enter my all black shot with the title 'Failure to remove lens cap'?
