mine is a bit obscure so i hope this isnt the case. it says the lyric should be the title and right now thats all i have as my title. do you think it would be concidered a problem to add the song title in parethesis so people can look it up if they feel the need? |

If somebody enters a photo showing people doing "it" in the road ("Why Don't We Do It In The Road?") will the picture be disqualified?

| The one I really wanted to do, I couldn't due to some construction around what I wanted to photograph. So my submission is a 2nd or 3rd choice. I don't like it quite as well and may try to get something else before the end of the day...although don't really know if I will have time. Bummer deal as I was really looking forward to doing well in this challenge. I am betting there are going to be a lot of creative entries! |

Editing my original text: I couldn't find something anymore that I shot 3 years ago and would fit perfectly a title, but because I found something resembling, my previous tekst would give it away.

LOL I think you all will be getting DQ-ed by the police before you even have a chance to submit the shot here, if you're referring to the 'it' I think you are, ha ha.

I wasn't gonna do this one, then found the perfect prop, but it's not working after all, so I'm back out because I dont have time today to spend on it.
I also had one shot I loved that I tried HARD to find a way to fit, but that's not working either. Maybe if I were a Beatles fan so that when I saw something the appropriate lyric would pop into my mind?
Ah well, there's always "single light source". Wait... I don't have time to do THAT today either. Arrrrghhh! |

I think the parenthesis idea is quite an excellent one, though we have a character limit and a lot of Beatles stuff can get long and wordy.
Also: before tossing "DNMC" at something you don't recognize, PLEASE Google it. Plugging "beatles lyric* ______" into a search engine will pull it up if it's legit.

I've entered.
Didn't shoot anything specifically for this challenge but I wanted to be in it so I just started looking thru everything I shot this week until I found a good shot, polished it a little, and then went searching thru Beatles lyrics until I found a good fit. They had so many songs that I think you could find a lyric for lots of different kinds of shots, almost anything.

How many people will be listening to acutal Beatles songs while voting?
I think I will just to see relavence, and to get a better idea of what the photographer was after. After all, the challenge did say lyrics as well as title of songs.

I entered...can't wait to see the other entries. I am hoping that a few select have entered since I would be very curious to see their interpretations. I am hoping this challenge turns out to be as much fun as it was dreaming up ideas to enter. I never was a big fan of the Beatles and as such had to search out my ideas. Never owned a Beatles record/tape/CD.

The moment I read the challenge description, I knew the song I wanted to do and the basics of the photo. I tried hard to come up with different ones, too, but kept coming back to the same thing. I'm happy with it.
I like trying to submit to the smaller challenge of the two. Very early in the game, the Beatles had the lower number of submissions, and usually the early trend sets the pace.
This time it fooled me and changed AFTER I had my photo uploaded, but hey - it might be fate, right? |

Well, I got mine in.... this is not 100% the shot I wanted to do... but my friend stood me up this weekend, and well. I was going to give up until I got a phone call and tonight I rushed around to get a 1/2 a$$ed picture of what I wanted.
It's not what I had in mind 100%... but I am happy with it. It's a great picture of someone dear to me... and it will make a nice gift! LoL
