| I'm just a bumping fool today.. (grin) but for me it;s the best way to be totally fair - to go back and make the comments and bump up after you have had a chance to see everyone's entry - and I like to give out high scores whenever I can do so honestly and fairly |

One thing you can do is to start your comment, "Returning to comment" and then make your comment and bump if you feel the desire. I've seen some people do this. That way, it might give them a clue that it wasn't a one, but maybe a bump. At any rate, they'll know that you voted earlier and are just coming back to comment.

I'm not sure I follow this logic. If for example I originally voted a 1 but returned to leave a comment and at the same time bumped my vote to a 2 that effect is going to increase the photographer's score unless of course someone else is also voting/changing their vote at the same time. |

Yep, it will indeed increase their score. I didn't think about the number of votes not going up though... Oops. :) So I guess it would be pretty easy to tell that you just got bumped. Like I said, it would really hurt my head to have to figure all that stuff out. I'm just glad the update button does all the calculations for me. I'm lazy like that. :)

It won't show as an additional vote so I don't think it will appear that way. Those who are addicted to the update button may notice the slight bump. |

After voting all of the SUCCESS & FAILURE pictures I have to say that the Failure challeng sure has a lot more shots that meet the challenge then the Success side. I definitly scored pictures higher on the Failure side.
The only thing missing from the Success challenge was a shot of a Bowling ball titled "Strikingout for Success" - In some cases it honestly looked like people grabbed any snapshot they happened to take in the time frame and gave it a "Success (Fill in the Blank)" name!
I'll stop now before I drive myself nuts.

I'm in failure and am at 5.83 I think shot is a 6 and hope it will climb however....I received a very dumb comment today. I can't share it b/c it may give away the shot...just rediculous.

This is unreal. I sure hope someone in the Success challenge is in the 3's, because I've got the brown otherwise.
Funny thing is, 3 out of the 4 comments are rather positive. |

almost same with me, have fallen to 5.6 now and got a comment from someone who couldn't see "failure" - must have lost his glasses |

I too have been dropping - only 2 comments and both are positive. Hanging in at 5.11XX so unless something spectacular happens, it looks like another "Middle of the Road" finish.
"Middle of the Road" would make a ninteresting challenge wouldn't it... Nah, someone would get run over by a taxi in New York and their lawyer would sue DPC and shut them down.... sorry I even thought of it:)
