I finally got my first client for pet photography, and i'm excited, and nervous at the same time. the date is monday. I have my 50 1.8, a battery grip, and a black cloth backdrop, but no studio lights. I would love any advice that anyone has... help anyone?

use you flash bounce and a soft paper to make a soft light then play using black back grounds, if there and exterior shot play with wide aperture your 50mm 1.8 will worlk |

thanks guys. it is a 10 lb chihuaha. i don't have a hotshoe flash, so i'll probably use my pop up with a white film cannister to diffuse it, and i have a table lamp that i am going to try to rig up a softbox around.... lol. If i make enough money, i think i'll either get a hotshoe flash, or some cheap studio lights.

well, the client got the photos, and she called to tell me that she thinks the color is off...
i ordered them from this lab, and they took two weeks to ship, so i think i'm going to make a 5X7 at... walmart ... and ask if she thinks it is ok. she said that the tongue in one of them looks too red, so i think i'll desaturate the reds some in ps...
i don't have any other ideas, though... when the prints came, i went over them agonizingly, and they were great. i dunno...
help, anyone?

i'll post larger previews tomorrow (these are the automatically formatted ones the site makes when you upload a file)
thanks in advance
