I recently started mixing colour and mono. In my eyes it looks nice. I know there are some people that don't like it - some people do. Mu aim is to put the attention of the viewer on something interesting or nice in the photo. In this one, I tried to focus the attention on her eyes.
What do you think?

i think it might look better if it was just the eyes. the flowers on the shirt are rather distracting.

I'll go with Christian on this one. Use the minimum approach, eyes only would have great impact.

Your model is so cute !
If your intention is to focus on the eyes , no need to give color to the shirt because this one has 3 colors (pink,green and blue)and catch the attention.
If possible , I think that you should try again with another clothes.
Another thing you can try is to desaturate a bit less or you can play with another layer adjusting the opacity and blending mode.

Great - thanx guys. I will try it. Will re-post when I am done. Unfortunately it won't be very soon. Couple of weeks. I am finishing today at my current job. Starting a whole new carreer tomorrow.
Will be some time before I have my e-mail and internet sorted at the new company.
