Got This email today thought I would pass it on. I'm gonna be entering something.

The call for artists is out now, but it is not yet
available on the LAL website.
Here is the Calendar:
June 30 Postmark deadline for entries
July 5 Final deadline to receive entries
Aug 4 Notifications mailed
Aug 31-Sep 01 Delivery of accepted works
Sep 8 Opening reception
Sep 22 Forth Friday Reception award winners announced
Sep 9 -Oct 8 Exhibit
Oct 9 - 10 Pick-up of hand-delivered works
ELIGIBILITY AND MEDIA:
All photographers, age 18 and older, are eligible to
enter. All photographic techniques are eligible
for consideration. Photographs must have been
completed since January 2003 and not previously shown
in any Lexington Art League gallery.
ENTRY FEE:
A non-refundable entry fee of $25 for 1-3 entries and
$35 for 4-6 entries allows the artist to enter up to
six works of art.
SLIDES AND DIGITAL IMAGES:
Digital images must be clearly labeled with title and
entry numb; in other
words, save each image using the title and entry
number (for example: #1
Blue Sky, #2 Untitled 1, #3 Untitled 2). Your name
should not appear
anywhere on the image itself. All digital images must
be submitted as JPEG
files on a PC compatible CD. Save all images at 300
dpi, size 8" X 10".
Please do not attempt to send digital images through
email. CDs will be
returned with the jury notification, if a SASE is
received with the entry.
Slides must be labeled as shown on the form. One slide
for each work.
Quality of slides may influence the juror's decision.
SALES
ALL artwork in the exhibit must be for sale. Your
signature on the entry
form indicates your assurance that pieces entered will
be available for the
exhibit and will be for sale. The LAL retains a 30%
commission on the retail
price of all works sold in the gallery. The artist
must determine retail price.
Will try to keep checking the LAL site to see when the
entry form is posted,
or you could probably call and have one mailed to you.
